At Shymae Bakery, all our products are made fresh to order. Cakes are highly perishable and often customized to specific customer preferences. Once an order is placed, ingredients, preparation, and resources are immediately committed — and the product cannot be restocked or reused.
🚫 1. No Cancellations or Refunds After Order Placement
We do not offer cancellations, refunds, or exchanges once an order is placed for any perishable items — including but not limited to cakes, cupcakes, pastries, and desserts — whether standard or custom-made.
This policy applies regardless of:
- Order type (standard, custom, pre-order, or same-day)
- Payment method used
- Reason for cancellation
📦 2. Delivery Failures
If delivery fails due to:
- Wrong address
- Recipient unavailable
- Customer refusal to accept the order
…the order will be marked as delivered and no refund will be issued. Re-delivery may be attempted at our discretion and may incur additional charges.
🧁 3. Quality Concerns (Exceptional Cases)
If you receive a damaged, spoiled, or incorrect item:
- Email shymaebakery@gmail.com within 2 hours of delivery with your Order ID and clear photo proof.
- If we verify a quality or dispatch error, we may offer a replacement or store credit on a case-by-case basis.
Requests raised after 2 hours from delivery will not be eligible due to the perishable nature of our products.
💳 4. Refund Processing (For Verified Issues Only)
In cases where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 7 business days to the original payment method.
- Processing time depends on your bank/UPI provider.
❌ 5. No Returns or Exchanges
We do not accept any returns or exchanges on food items once delivered or picked up, due to hygiene and perishability.
